
Sports Therapy
Kimberley currently works with amateur and professional sports people, and provides sports therapy to Prime Factors Racing Team competing in the World Endurance Championship.
Kimberley has worked with a wide range of sports such as rugby, hockey, football, netball and basketball and when training at university she undertook valuable voluntary with Northampton Town Football Club and Northampton Saints Rugby Club.
These experiences enabled her to hone her diagnostic skills, leading to a treatment style that incorporates deeper investigation of injuries, allowing the prevention of future related problems.
Her experience in a sporting environment has given her the opportunity to treat a wide range of sporting injuries. As well as working in these places Kimberley also works for the NHS. Through working with the NHS she is able to provide high quality patient care and confidentiality at all times when dealing with patients and clients.

Tendonitis
Tendons are strong bands or cords of tissue that attach muscle to bone. They help move the bones and joints when muscles contract.

Physical Therapy
A specialty that, by using mechanical force and movements, remediates impairments and promotes mobility and quality of life.

Whiplash
Whiplash injury is a type of neck injury caused by sudden movement of the head forwards, backwards or sideways.

Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI)
Repetitive strain injury is a term used to describe the pain felt in muscles, nerves and tendons caused by repetitive movement and overuse.

Shin Splints
Shin splints is the name for pain in the shins, or the front of the lower legs, usually caused by exercise. They aren't usually serious, but can stop you from exercising and may get worse.

Deep Tissue Massage
A type of massage therapy, deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia.

Knee and Ankle Injuries
Ankle injuries are common in primary care, A&E and sports medicine. Most are inversion and plantar flexion injuries that lead to damage to the lateral ligaments..

Muscle Tears and Strains
A muscle strain happens when the fibres in the muscle get stretched or torn, this usually happens during strenuous sports, such as sprinting or playing football.

Achilles Tendon Injuries
An Achilles tendon injury is a fairly common and painful sports injury. It can also be caused by wearing high heels. The Achilles tendon links calf muscles to the heel bone.

Remedial massage is one of the most effective and readily available ways to prevent and treat muscle injuries, pain and soreness.

Neck & Back Pain

A sprain occurs when one or more ligaments have been stretched, twisted or torn, usually as a result of excessive force being applied to a joint. A strain occurs when muscle fibres stretch or tear.
